  2. Leribe Crafts Centre
Leribe Craft Center is a workshop and employment project which trains Basotho women in the artisanal skills of hand spinning mohair yarn, dyeing it and weaving it by hand. It was established in 1911, in Hlotse, Leribe. The center sources their raw mohair locally and has begun to use some locally made equipment in their production process. In addition, they employ about forty women, including many of those who are differently abled, to produce handmade tapestries, scarves, shawls, runners and ponchos, amongst others. These can be found on site at their shop, along with items such as the well-known Basotho hats and woolen dolls. Profits generated from the sales go into training for differently abled women, lodging for the weavers and the workshops operations

  2. Bokong Nature Reserve
Bisected by the surfaced A25 as it runs between Leribe and Katse Dam, lofty Bokong is a small but very scenic and hiker-friendly reserve spanning altitudes of 2,800 to 3,200 metres. It is best-known as the site of the attractive Lepaqoa Falls, which tumbles horseshoe-like over a 60-metre cliff, and often freezes in winter to form a column of solid ice.

  2. Subeng Dinosaur Footprints
The dinosaur footprints at Subeng are embedded in a sandstone slab in a small stream and rank among the most important sites of its type in the country. Discovered in 1955, Subeng incorporates the footprints of at least three and possibly as many as six different species of dinosaur, some with five toes on their feet, and others with three. Look carefully and you will also see fossilised worm trails and mud cracks on other slabs in the riverbed. Dinosaur footprints abound near Leribe. About 7km north of town (en route to Butha-Buthe) are the Subeng River footprints. At the signpost, just before the road crosses the river, walk down about 500m to a concrete causeway. The worn footprints of at least three species of dinosaur are about 15m downstream on the right bank. A local man who owns the land will collect your money, and children will likely offer to guide you

  2. Ts'ehlanyane National park
A national park in Lesotho located in the Maluti Mountain in Leribe district and is part maluti drakensberg transfrontier conservation area. This Lesotho northern park protects a high altitude, 2.6m(8.5ft) patch of rugged wilderness, including one of the Lesotho's stands of indigenous forest with a number of rare undergrowth plants that are unique to this woodland habitat. The name "Ts'ehlanyane" is the local common name for the berg bamboo (Thamnocalamus tessellates), from which the river and park take their name. It is fitting that the park should bear the name of this Drakensberg endemic plant, as it may be the most important refuge for this plant in the entire maluti-drakrnsberg mountain range.
